BelizeMusic.com is pleased to offer this CD by Ron Bertrand and the GumboLimbo Band. The CD was produced shortly after Ron returned from living on the island of Caye Caulker. It was there that Ron wrote these songs about his Belizean impressions and adventures. If you have also been to Belize then you most certainly have your own great memories... the beautiful Caribbean, the tantalizing Rainforest and, of course, the wonderful people of Belize.
After Ron returned from Caye Caulker he established a band which they named GUMBOLIMBO. They soon began recording sessions to complete two concept oriented CDs about Belize. They have recently included many of these songs into one CD entitled "What We Belize In". This CD is Caribbean oriented, what some are now calling "Tropical Rock" or "Trop-Rock". Some of the fun tunes include "I'm Down Here Drinking Belikin Beer" and "My Carib Girl From Dangriga". The CD is now available at all Internet Online CD Stores or from Swampabbean.com. Many who have purchased this CD have either been to Belize, or they know someone who has been to Belize (and they use the CD for a gift). They enjoy the songs because they (as a fellow Belizean tourist) can relate to the songs.
